Natural dyeing involves the uses of organic dye stuff extracted
from whole or portions of plants and trees. These bio degradable
dyes and fabric are human skin friendly and profitably disposable
as manure. India has a rich heritage of wide range natural dyeing
methods that are healthy for the human body and stylish for
fashion textiles.
With the advent of modern age, people began to use mineral salts
called Mordant with Natural dyes for little benefits. Color
fabrics, Cheaper and Quicker production and color variety are
some advantages, but mordant like alum, copper, chrome lead
etc are dangerous water pollutions. Natural Equilibrium:
HerboCoton has developed a new science for mordant free natural
dyeing of fabrics. It is an alternative fixing method for
mordant to ensure good color fastness. We have defined an
equilibrium condition for even sorption of dyes into fabric.
