The proprietor of Dsine Dart buying services himself is a director, a fabric manufacturing, processing and garment manufacturing unit, with a turnover of USD 25 million, catering to leading names in Europe and US. A printing division, expansion of dyeing unit and construction of a spinning mill are on the anvil.
He is a member of Society of Dyers and Colourists, UK.
He is a member of the syllabus committee for MBA (Textile Management) by Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) and SVPITM a textile ministry run college.
He has written handbooks for merchandisers in knitting, quality assurance and merchandising
Pearlcad started in 1995 is the parent organisation. It was a print development centre and education centre for CAD, Designing and Computer Usage. Later Pearlcad undertook to invest and run an institute promoted by “The South India Hosiery Manufacturers’ Association, Tirupur”. The institute was originally initiated by UNIDO for the development of the Tirupur Hosiery Manufacturing Cluster.
The proprietor himself is a special trainer in the areas of merchandising, quality control, pattern making and productivity. This is a social responsibility initiative in which poor students are trained at a very low cost and placed in the knit garment industry as production in-charges, quality controllers and merchandisers.
Through this institute, we have trained more than 1000 students in production, merchandising, quality control and management. We have also trained more than 2000 students from the industry as a part of skill upgrade initiative by SIHMA. |
