promoter, Veluswamy Sekar,

is a designer, educationalist and
CAD specialist. He is also a businessman
doing business in the field of knitting
industry. He is and Engineering Graduate
with a Masters in Business Administration. |

His
classes at SIHMA Institute
of Fashion Designing and Apparel Training
have trained more than 3000 students
for the knit garment industry. Nearly
one-third of the students are from
the garment industry, who come to
improve their technical and managerial
skills. |

He
is working in close coordination with
“The South India Hosiery
Manufacturers’ Association”,
a leading knit garment manufacturers’
association having more than 800 manufacturers
as members. He is involved in Business
Development activities of the association. |

He
started his career in garment industry
in 1993 as a CAD consultant, software
solution provider and a computer designer
for leading export houses. He expanded
into teaching of ‘garment business’
under the aegis of The South India
Hosiery Manufacturers’ Association,
Tirupur. |

In
the mean-time, he has expanded into
printing, accessories manufacturing,
and fabric manufacturing industries.
|

He
is the proprietor of Venkateswara
Tex, which offers high quality T-shirts
with print specialisation in the internet
market. The speciality of these products
is print quality and designs. Venkateswara
Tex is also into yarn and fabric business.
At present the companies turnover
is about Rs12 crores per annum |

He
has a seventeen year old company,
named PearlCAD, which handles the
education business. Originally, PearlCAD
was into designing for garment industry.
Later for operational convenience
these operations are brought under
Sapphire Fashion Academy. This academy
is staring online courses in the field
of garment merchandising and garment
production management. |

The
brand “Yogi’s”
today offers “Beau‘n’Belle”
range of T-shirts online. In the near
future other garment and textile products
will also be available online. |

concept of “Yogi’s”
is to give the customer, an international
quality product at Indian price. We,
inspired by the international brands
like Xara, try to give continuous
change of wardrobe for the consumer
at very affordable cost. We wish to

packing materials for exports to various
